First sewing adventure....

Well, here goes nothing....my first attempt at sewing a skirt from jeans.....

 No turning back now!!!

Well, here is the pretty much final product of my sewing adventure today....not bad for the first time.  I am going to fray the ends just because I like that look better.....

So, I really want to learn to become good at sewing!  I've always wanted to sew, and I even have a sewing machine- which I have used a handful of times- just to make rice bags and a bed for one of the dogs.  I don't think that really constitutes as sewing though.  HaHa.  I found some really good blogs on Pinterest that shows how to sew, so I am going to try it!  I think my first project is going to be a jean skirt!  Wish me luck! :)
